Principal's Message

Welcome to College Park! 

It is with much excitement that I'm starting my role as principal of College Park.  An important goal of mine as a    site administrator is to support students, staff, and parents to create a positive learning environment where students thrive.  I believe that educating the whole child through academics as well as social-emotional support sets students up for success in and outside of the classroom.  I will work with the teachers to continue promoting College Park's mission to develop strong readers.  It is my goal that all students in the monolingual and Mandarin Dual Immersion program receive engaging, high-quality instruction to enhance their educational experience. 

College Park is filled with an amazing groups of teachers and staff.  We are a close knit community of educators who care deeply about students and meeting their diverse needs.  We meet regularly as a team to discuss instructional strategies to best serve students at our school.  We are lucky enough to house a unique Mandarin Immersion program at our school site where students in kindergarten - 6th grade learn Mandarin in their classroom. 

The PTA is very supportive and committed to providing enriching experiences for our young learners such as art programs and assemblies.  We also have a robust afterschool program where we offer enrichment, homework help, and organized play for almost 200 students.  As a College Park community, we all work together for our students.
